Coir Geotextiles

Coir geotextiles are best for controlling soil erosion and conditioning soil. Made from coir fiber, they are naturally resistant to rot and moulds and is cheaper than synthetic geotextiles. They hold soil in place and prevent erosion, dissipating the force of heavy rains and run of water. It provides good soil support for years, allowing natural vegetation to become established. Coir geotextiles promote the growth of new vegetation by absorbing water and preventing the top soil from drying out. As it has strength and durability, it protects slopes and help natural vegetation to take root, coir geotextiles are available as woven, meshes and nets and non woven. They have varying densities depending on their application. Over a period of time the eco friendly and biodegradable coir disintegrates completely, leaving only humus.

Jute Geotextilies

Jute Geotextiles has proved to be highly effective in addressing a number of soil retailer problems in civil engineering .The functional of it are separation, filtration, drainage and initial reinforcement. The biodegrability of Jute geotextiles helps in quick growth of vegetation by coalescing with the soil, increasing its permibility, retaining the appropriate humidity as “mulch” and creating a micro climate that is conductive to vegetative growth. Jute Geotextiles provide excellent biotechnical solution to vulnerable exposed soil. Generally jute Geotextiles are available as open mesh, woven and non-woven.

Coir Logs

Coir Logs are long knotted coir netting filled with coir fiber. Coir logs are widely used on stream bank, sea shores and lake shores are controlling the sand slide. It is also used in desert areas for controlling sand over come. Coir logs can be cut into sections and stacked for stream bank stabilization, fluid containment, or used separately for check structures.

Heavy duty coir nettings filed with 100% nature fresh water washed coir fiber. We are using 2 ply standard coir fiber. For special projects 3 ply heavy duty coir rope, poly rope or poly propylene netting are used as the outer netting of coir logs (tough project)

Special Coir Logs are for specialized applications according to the sliding of the land and force of the water flow. We produce different types of special coir logs. The main varieties are bio blocks, pre drilled coir logs and coir wattles We produce a wide variety of coir agro products for agricultural and horticultural purpose. These products are widely used for green houses, Nurseries and Agricultural farms.

Application:

  • Water diversion
  • Sediment filtration
  • Slit pond constriction
  • Spill containment
  • Sand control
  • Stream bank stabilization flood control

Coir Wattles

Coir Wattle prevents sediment pollution, helps stabilizes stream banks and preventing the soil from eroding in to the stream below. When it is staked in trenches, Coir Wattles filter over land water flow, tapping and holding sediment on the stream bank. Coir Wattles work well sittings directly in water and out of water on slopes, they hold the stream bank stable of years. This given sprouting seeds ample time to develop intricate root system.

Available size: 10 cm to 60 cm diameter and length up to 6 meters

Coir Bio Embankers

Coco Bio embankers from Bros India have high water holding capacity. They have high consistency and are last long. The best part is that it holds moisture longer and releases it to the soil slowly. It’s excellent drainage and air porosity nature is beneficial.

Advantages:

  • Easy to re-wet
  • Inhibits root pathogens
  • Promotes stronger root systems
  • No weed seeds
  • Cost effective and recyclable
  • The coir Embankers in the system provides constant layer heights and makes construction of Fabrics wrapped soil layers easier.
  • Provides much longer protection to soil wraps from the thick coir fiber block than Making the soil wraps with fabrics only.
  • The male-female end in coir block system provide strong continues section, while maintaining it is structural integrity
  • Provides better support to soil behind the rectangular block.
  • More contact area at the bottom
  • In most situation no inner fabrics is required when soil warps are done with coir block System. Reduces cost.
  • Reduces valuable installation time, reduces overall project cost, and worry free designs.

Coir Plant Pallets

The use of Coir Plant Pallet is an excellent technique for establishing marginal vegetation around lakes edges and on all watercourse banks. The pallets are cost effective, organic protection that is a suitable alternative to hard revetments in many applications.

Coir Pallets provide a suitable method of introducing marginal habitat to artificially lined lakes, rivers and canals. Coir is an ideal fibre for erosion control and vegetation establishment and is completely sustainable Coir Pallets can be vegetated with any mix of native wetland plants and, given sufficient lead-time, local provenance plants/ seeds can be contract grown into the pallets. Coir Pallets should be supplied with plants installed at the nursery so that roots will already be thoroughly established through the bottom of the roll.

Coir Fibre Rolls

Coir Fibre Rolls, placed along the waterline, prevent fretting and erosion of the interface between the normal water level and the bank. Like Coir Pallets, they provide an instant stand of vegetation as well as erosion protection.

Available Size : 5 cm to 10 cm in thickness upto 1 meter width and 5 meter length
Loadability : 300 m2 /40 ft container

Coir Silt Fencing

If installed correctly Silt fence is one of the most effective and economical sediment barriers. Silt fence is manufactured from geotextile filter fabric that allows water to pass through the fabric, while trapping soil particles long enough for them to settle. We offer a variety of Silt fences to suit state and local specifications.
